Hi, I’m Emily!
My name is Emily, I will also respond to Em, Frankie, or, “hey photographer”!
Wanderlust is a kind of lifestyle and kind of a curse for me. I am always planning my next trip and looking for the next beautiful place to cross off my list. Whether I am taking an 8 hour road trip or an 18 hour flight I am always up for wherever life will take me. Traveling is what taught me to love photography and what keeps me inspired to this day. That is why I make it easy to book me no matter where you are saying, “I do”.
I am an Arizona girl through and through. I was born and raised in the mountains of Arizona. I just can’t seem to tear myself away from the beauty of my home state. We have everything, from beautiful deserts to crisp mountains. Because I have spent so much time exploring AZ I can help you pick the perfect location for your photoshoot, elopement, or wedding,,, even if you have never been here before!
My childhood was spent surrounded by animals; horses, tortoises, chickens, parrots, and goats. I miss hanging out with horses pretty much every day. So anytime I get to hang out with a furry (or scaly) friend I am stoked. That’s why I am always encouraging my clients to bring their animal babies to photo sessions. Even if it is difficult we will get some photos with your favorite little (or big) creature.
I know what it feels like to be shy. As a child I was SO shy, so I know what it feels like to be nervous about things that seem effortless. People don’t believe it meeting me now but I can relate to the anxiety of doing something new. I am always going to make those around me feel comfortable; this might be by making jokes at my own expense or it could be showing you photos as I take them to make sure you see what a freakin’ BABE you are.
Oh my gosh you’re still here!
I guess, if you want to know more…
Along with my two pups, I have a kitty even though I am slightly allergic.
My friends say that I am like Phoebe, a little weird but always passionate and excited!
I am currently on a quest for the perfect pair of overalls. I have some… but they aren’t perfect.
People often ask if I take my dog, Bubbles, everywhere with me… the answer is, if she can come, she will be there.
I have been gluten free for about 7 years now, but not by choice. I would kill for a doughnut right now…
I not-so-secretly wish I was a mermaid.
I want to photograph you and your boo!
